Rabbi Rami Shapiro
Rabbi Shapiro is an award-winning author of over 30 books on religion and spirituality. He currently directs the One River Foundation and its World Wisdom Bible project, writes a regular column for Spirituality and Health magazine called Roadside Assistance for the Spiritual Traveler, and hosts the magazine’s weekly radio show. His newest book is The World Wisdom Bible. Rabbi Shapiro is in demand as a speaker at churches, synagogues, and retreat centers across the country and abroad. He comments that he will go anywhere “...where there are people willing to wrestle with the perennial spiritual questions that challenge thinking people in every generation.”
Simone Campbell, SSS
Simone Campbell, a Sister of Social Service, is an attorney, activist, and advocate for social justice. The Executive Director of NETWORK since 2004, Sr.Simone has extensive experience in public policy and advocacy for systemic change. Widely known for leading the five “Nuns on the Bus” tours in 2012 to highlight issues of social justice, she also wrote the famous “nuns’ letter” supporting the healthcare reform bill in 2010. Sr. Simone is constantly sought as a speaker worldwide for conferences, interviews, and the media on current topics of public policy and social justice. A featured speaker at the 2012 Democratic National Convention, Sr. Simone has received numerous awards.
